Returns
& Refunds Policy
- Claims of
damage, defect or error must be made within 5 days after receiving
your order.
- Concealed
damage is very difficult to resolve and will be the full responsibility
of the buyer. Our suggestion is that you or your personnel in shipping
and receiving are aware of the importance of opening each shipment
before signing off on the shipment. Hess Meat Machines will not
be responsible for any damage to the machinery that is delivered
without inspection.
- Claims of
freight damaged items must be made to the freight carrier. We will
be happy to assist you in making your claim.
- Returns of
non-defective items must be made within 10 days after receiving
the items, in it's original packaging and in sellable condition.
A restocking fee of 20% will be charged. Shipping related charges
are NOT refundable.
- Special order
items are NOT returnable. For other items please check with us BEFORE
ordering to determine if the item is returnable.
- A Return Authorization
(RA) number must be obtained prior to returning any item, and return
freight prepaid by the customer. Return shipping instructions will
be provided.
- No returns
will be accepted after 15 days.
- Credit card
refunds will be processed to the original credit card.
- Select items
may be returned for credit towards a larger unit even if used once.
You must notify us within 10 days of received order.
UPS-
Many
orders that are shipped UPS are double boxed for protection!

Meat Machines is very concerned about your privacy.
Our shopping cart uses SSL technology which encrypts
your personal information, including your credit card
data and prevents it from being intercepted over the
Internet. We will never sell or share your personal
information, including your e- mail address, to other
companies for any reason, except as required by law.
Our
shopping cart uses cookies to keep track of your stay
at our store. The cookie does not gather information
from your computer or profile your system. The cookie
just tracks your purchase. That's all it does! If you
don't feel comfortable sending your credit card information
over the Internet or if you just don't want to accept
any cookies, you can click the "I'd Rather Have
You Call Me For My Card Number" button on the check
out form. We will then call you as soon as possible
to complete your order. Or you can call us toll free
at 1-800-572-4728.
The
shopping cart checkout form is the only place on our
site that we collect personal information about you.
We use the information we collect to track your visit
to Hess Meat Machines, process and ship your order,
and to be able to contact you if you request it or if
we have questions about your order. We DO NOT track
your visits by name, only by general information (such
as the type of browser you use, the files you request,
and the domain name and country from which you request
information) to let us improve our web site and better
serve you.
We
use a third party for credit card processing, verification
and in some cases to drop ship merchandise. We do not
store your credit card information on our server, it
is erased as soon as we receive your order via SSL technology.
We will never send your credit card information by e-mail.
We treat our data as assets that must be protected against
loss and unauthorized access. Access to customer information
is limited to those employees who have a legitimate
business need for that information.
Hess
Meat Machines may provide some links to external sites
as a convenience to the user. The inclusion of any link
does not imply our endorsement of the external site
company, its web site, or the products and services
it promotes and sells. Hess Meat Machines is not responsible
for the privacy practices or the content of such web
sites.
Since
we do not store your personal information on our site,
there is no reason for you to request to have it deleted
or changed.
