Medium duty/economy slicers are imported from Italy. These start at 8" capacity blade and go up to 14". They are designed for light- to medium-use applications and are economically priced.
Heavy duty/industrial slicers are manufactured in the United States. They have 12" to 14" blades and are designed for continuous heavy use. These units are designed for medium to heavy commercial operators such as grocery stores, delis, meat shops, commissaries, caterers, and restaurants.
